Are There Benefits to Laughing Even When Nothing is Funny?
Anyone who has ever picked up a Reader’s Digest magazine is familiar with the popular monthly feature, “Laughter Is The Best Medicine”. It’s fun to read the stories, but have you ever wondered if there’s any truth to the claim that laughter can sometimes be better than medicine?
I have always believed that finding humor in difficult situations was a great way to reduce tension, but I just recently learned about Laughter Cafes and Laughter Yoga classes that promote laughing as a part of a wellness program.
