Testimonials for CaregiverHelp.com

For anyone caring for a loved one, these videos are a lifesaver! As a nurse at a nursing home off and on for 10 years and a full time caregiver to my daddy for over 3 years, Ms. Elaine became a soothing voice in my ear every night before going to sleep! Her videos helped me on so many levels. I recommend it to everyone from family members and employees alike! God bless you for all you do for others!
Love and Peace always,

This website is such a blessing for busy, stressed-out caregivers. Not only is it a great resource if we have specific questions, but the Word of the Day is a quick daily reminder that we are not alone. It is a source of wisdom, strength, comfort, and encouragement and reminds us that what we are doing is making a difference in the lives of our care receivers. Many of the videos are highly entertaining, which is so helpful when we need a laugh and some perspective.

Elaine’s posts and articles are always written with great emotion and always from the heart. She speaks with vast experience, and I always look forward to reading whatever she writes. Very professional and very human – a rare commodity these days. She stands out like a beacon in a storm.

Too often the burdens of caregiving overtake purpose and good intentions. CaregiverHelp.com offers pathways of hope to those caring for adults with disabilities or illness. Sharing her knowledge and experience, mixed with the levity this difficult journey requires, Elaine Sanchez helps make each step a little kinder.

Every once in a while you find a place that you go back to time and time again because it gives you the support, the tools, and the hope to carry on. CaregiverHelp.com is such a place. To describe it as resource for family and professional caregivers is to diminish its true value. Yes, the videos are engaging and informative. The content expansive with great flexibility whether presented in group settings or used by individuals in their own homes at their own pace with a simple internet connection. The facilator instructions are clear, thoughtful and comprehensive. But its real value is in letting you know that you’re not alone, that you are part of a large loving community of people just like you, doing the best they can with good days and bad days and lots of humour in between. The real value is having Elaine Sanchez as your ‘big sister’ always there for you because she’s been where you are and there’s no better feeling than that.

CaregiverHelp.com is the only resource out there designed to suit the needs of the modern caregiver, whether a family member or professional. With its web-based, on-demand learning format, it fits into the life of a busy caregiver juggling multiple roles including spouse, employee, and parent. Elaine is a well-respected, established caregiving expert. Together, Elaine and her husband, Dr. Alex Sanchez have found a smart way to bundle their experience and expertise to deliver best-in-class information in an easy-to-use format. I highly recommend this program for family caregivers and elder care professionals alike.

Thank you for this wonderful ministry to caregivers everywhere. When I got home from moving my 97-year-old uncle to a memory care facility recently, I collapsed in front of the computer and thought, “I need Elaine.” So I went to your website and landed on “The Three F’s of Flipping Out” and watched all the videos, because at that moment I was indeed feeling Fatigue, Fear, and Frustration. It was just what I needed to hear. My mantra now comes from one of the videos on dementia: “You can never win an argument with a person who has dementia.”

I love that the videos are short, but very full – caregivers don’t have a lot of extra time! Your videos contain so much love, good information, and hilarious stories that they always give me an escape and help to renew my energy and enthusiasm. And thanks to Alex for his participation. He reminds us that, though most caregivers are probably women, there are also a lot of male caregivers out there.

Caregiving can be so lonely and stressful and frustrating, but you remind us that we are not alone and to take care of ourselves so we can take care of our care receivers. What a blessing!

I heard you speak in Wisconsin a few months ago and read your book, “Letters From Madelyn”. I am very impressed with your work and presentation. I have been a caregiver for my husband who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease for 25 years and have been a facilitator of a Parkinson’s support group for almost 15 years. I also coordinate a caregivers’ monthly meeting. You have addressed the needs of caregivers very well through truth and humor. I believe that all caregivers would enjoy and learn from your program. Thanks to you and Alex for putting your time and effort into CaregiverHelp.com

CaregiverHelp.com is a lifesaving resource for all types of caregivers. Elaine and Alex have walked this path so they know that anger, guilt, depression and grief are often part of the caregiver experience. Through story-telling and humor, they help caregivers understand that negative feelings don’t mean they are bad people. They teach practical strategies for coping with difficult emotions — and for managing challenging behaviors in those afflicted with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Caregiving is never easy, but if you watch their inspiring videos you will gain a positive new perspective to help make your journey easier.
